Honorable Mention #24: Culver’s
The original butterburger of the Culver uses seasoned, never-frozen beef on a bun. Toppings are fully customizable but can contain red onion, pickles, cabbage, ketchup, mustard, and proper Wisconsin cheddar, a finer view than the fake neon cheese goop sold by so many burger chains.

It’s like the criteria for a good fast-food burger are met. Fresh, customizable, ordered — and it shows in the final product. The beef is always very tasty, when a tad drought is present, while the toasted and buttered bun is soft, moist and warm. Final judgment? It’s the best burger you’ll find that isn’t entirely right yet.
