Persistent Pupillary Membrane
Here is another two-dollar word that we just dare you to say as fast as you can. Persistent pupillary membrane or PPM for short looks like what you see in the picture. What is happening here is that the iris disappeared or at least parts of it did when the pupil formed.
It makes for a very interesting shape and pattern to be created in the eye. Do not worry though, it usually has no negative effect on a person’s vision, they are still able to see normally and with no problems. Just another case of people who have really cool eyes to gaze at.
