#20: Chocolate Chip-Less Cookie
Being from America, we can confirm that our chocolate chip cookies tend to look like the ones on the package here—they can be snappy or soft but almost always have quite a dense chocolate chip ratio relative to the dough. That’s kind of the whole point of the cookie.

Sometimes, to aid in the final appearance, companies will incorporate some of the chips into the dough and stick the rest onto the surface of the individual cookies just before they go into the oven. That makes the chips obvious and gives the illusion of more dense chocolate packing than in the wider mix. Maybe this company missed the memo.
