Finding friends who understand what you are going through is the best! Your life can get really busy, so carving out time with like-minded people can be worth it in the end.

If you don’t have any friends who work this way this may seem difficult at first. But you can make new friendships that will ease your daily pressures.

Volunteer to help new parents

Helping other moms is a great way to gain support. Volunteering at your children’s school or on the PTA is one of the best ways to meet like-minded professionals. You can also volunteer with local charities that support working families.

Create a support group with friends from church

If you don’t have any working friends, there are plenty of other ways to find support. You can help each other out with kids and household responsibilities, or just create a healthy way to blow off steam with others who understand your struggles.

Create a support group with friends from work

The workplace doesn’t always have to be an extension of your desk. Creating a supportive co-workers tribe can ease the stress of your job and make it more enjoyable.

Be active on social media

Get involved in community organizations

These are just five ways to find friends as a working mom! You can get lots of support from motherhood groups and organizations.

These tips will help you get started on building meaningful connections that will last long after the kids have grown up and left home. Having a strong support system is the best way to help yourself, and your children.
