Inconsistent Smashed Windows
Perhaps the most dramatic scene in Titanic, at least before Jack sinks to the bottom of the Atlantic, is when water smashes through the captain’s deck. Knowing that this was going to be one of the most crucial parts of the film, James decided to shoot this scene from multiple angles.
This meant putting up new glass to replace the shattered ones. However, the differences between shots were apparent by what order the glass broke. In the first shot, they broke from left to right. In the next, the fourth window broke before the third. James was probably like, “Hope nobody noticed.” They did.
