Too Dangerous for Small Ships
In the scene where the Titanic first set off for its maiden voyage, we saw several smaller ships nearby. They were there probably to wish the Titanic a safe trip, or maybe they were docked at the time and had to wait their turn before setting off to sea.
But if you look at the history of the RMS Titanic, you probably know that there were no ships nearby. Not a single ship was spotted in the vicinity. They were all evacuated to allow the Titanic to pass since the resulting waves would’ve tipped smaller boats over. A minor detail, but one that James should have definitely known.
