Rose Couldn’t Have Survived
One of our favorite things about Titanic mistakes is pointing out how the passengers couldn’t have escaped. Yes, we know, it’s a grim hobby, but we couldn’t care in the slightest. Earlier, we talked about how Rose would’ve frozen to death due to the lightweight dress she was wearing. And she almost actually died on set for wearing a lifejacket!
Rose most definitely would’ve frozen while being submerged in the rising water inside of the ship, but what about outside? There were no walls to protect her, no Jack to hold her tight, no nothing. The thin fabric of her dress wouldn’t have provided any warmth at all. The boats that came to rescue her would’ve found a cadaver on the plank, not a living and healthy Rose.
