Too Soon
In spite of all of the mistakes James Cameron left in Titanic, they pale in comparison to the original Titanic movie. Saved from the Titanic was released in 1912, the exact same year that the cruise line sank. If that wasn’t bad enough, the film was released one month after the disastrous event. People were still grieving over the loss of family members when Saved from the Titanic came out in theaters! Talk about being heartless.
Nobody can watch the movie anymore, though. The original reel was lost before they could make copies, but a few stills remain. It only lasted ten minutes, and it showcased new filming technology, but the tastelessness of producing such a film just one month after the disaster it was based on made people understandably upset.
