Shame From Oversharing
When social media hit the scene, it was meant to keep us in close contact with our friends who are far away. It didn’t take long for it to become our personally-public diary where we detail every heartbreak, out our enemies, and incessantly post blurry pictures of every meal we eat.
We aren’t shunning social media; we’re just saying that it’s a time capsule full of cringe when we look back at posts we made in the heat of the moment. If you don’t want to wait twenty years to feel your insides curdle in embarrassment, log in to your old MySpace or visit your Facebook memories. Hopefully, you have more laughs than facepalms.
