Can’t We Meat In The Middle?
Vegans get a lot of backlash for choosing not to chomp down on our animal friends for food. There are jokes about how vegans announce their lifestyle uninvited and complaints about how difficult it is to go out to eat with them because of their dietary restrictions or those who openly judge meat-eaters at the table, making everyone uncomfortable.

However, some vegans and non-vegans admit that being open about refusing to eat animals might set off internal alarms in others about how inconsistent society is with animal rights. Where do you draw the line between pets and food, and does the vegan hate do any good?
