Too Much Exposure
Body searches by the TSA were later scrapped for scanning technology, which proved to be able to see everything and not require physical contact. The only problem that resulted after this was implemented was the fact that the TSA could see everything going on under someone’s clothes.

This complete lack of privacy caused an uproar with passengers who felt extremely uncomfortable with a stranger seeing them more or less naked on screen. After their concerns were heard, changes were made to make the security experience safe, but less invasive. We hope that in the future they’ll keep making improvements so that line moves faster.
