When it comes to the world of advertising, there are plenty of outrageous ads that will make you raise an eyebrow. This vintage Hardee’s ad, for example, will make you wonder what exactly the creators were thinking. We have nothing against women who choose to stay at home but to tell a woman that her “place is in the home, cooking a man a delicious meal” is unacceptable. 

Don’t get us wrong, we love a Hardee’s cheeseburger as much as the next person but if they released a sexist ad like this in this day and age, we’re sure they’d have to close their doors soon enough.
