Now that we’ve all watched and loved the Thor franchise and all the Avengers movies, we can’t imagine anyone other than Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston playing the characters of Thor and Loki respectively. Hemsworth’s good looks and Hiddleston’s acting prowess really made these characters memorable.

However, back when they were still casting for the movie, a popular website published an article about how two “virtual unknowns” had been chosen for these roles. In fact, the author didn’t seem particularly impressed or hopeful. Well, the joke’s on them. Who knew that these gentlemen would go on to become Hollywood’s finest and most popular actors someday?
