Tweets That Will Turn Your Day From Drab To Fab

August 30, 2012 by Jade Parker

Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? Was your boss on your back all day like a rabid spider monkey, snapping at you for every minor mistake as your work gets harder but your pay stays the same? Or maybe you spent twenty minutes in the Starbucks drive-through only to be told they’re all out of the caramel syrup you need for your daily macchiato that keeps your sanity in tact until you get home. Whatever’s weighing you down, we’re here today with tweets that are guaranteed to turn your frown upside down so you can forget all about your worries. Let us help you laugh your way into a better today so you can wakeup feeling resfreshed and try again tomorrow. You might even want to keep these bookmarked for the next time you have a bummer of a day.

Begging To Go To Bed

Remember when you were a kid and staying up past midnight felt like a special treat? If your parents wanted you in bed early, you shoved a blanket against the bottom of your door so the flashing light from the TV wouldn’t seem out from under and give you away. Or maybe you hid your handheld console under the covers and played with the volume off.

As an adult, it’s a little different. You’re not dead yet. You still enjoy a night out with the boys or girls, but sometimes partying into the single-digit hours feels far too late, and all you want to do is reunite your head with your pillow. You don’t dare admit this to your friends though, because they’ll probably try to throw you into a retirement home.
