Pasta And Peace
When I was in fourth grade, my class held Peace Minute every day after our midday recess. It was meant to help us wind down after getting wound up on the playground after lunch. Staying quiet as a kid was difficult, but as adults, we crave moments of silence. Even better if they come with carbs.

It’s not that we don’t love our partners and our kids. They’re our world. It’s just so nice to sigh into a bowl of spaghetti at the end of a long day without having to focus on anything but our tastebuds and our favorite tv show. We don’t want to answer to anyone or anything except our craving for seconds.
