Our Stomachs Can’t Make Up Their Minds
Those of us with ADHD have a rocky relationship with food sometimes, whether it be because we’re so hyperfocused on a task that we forget we need fuel to keep our overactive brains and bodies in tip-top shape, or because making decisions is the kryptonite that sends us into deep analysis paralysis.
Even if you’re lucky enough to have a mind that doesn’t sound like 12 tv’s and four radios competing for your attention, you can still identify with that feeling of unsatisfying eating where nothing hits the spot and your brain and body won’t cooperate long enough tell you what your tastebuds want. Plus, cheese makes us all feel good.
