Jason Sklar with his brother Randy Sklar
To have the opportunity to witness identical twin brothers perform together is a once in a lifetime experience. Randy and Jason Sklar were born in the city of St. Louis, Missouri, and are identical twins in every way. Both realised they wanted to pursue a career in comedy while attending the University of Michigan during their undergraduate years. After graduating from college, they relocated to New York in order to achieve their ambitions. As a result, they began writing for the MTV show “Apt 2f” as a result of this. Some of the lads’ notable television credits include appearances on shows such as CSI, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Entourage, Grey’s Anatomy, and Curb Your Enthusiasm, among others.
A show on ESPN called “Cheap Seats” was presented by the Sklar brothers for four seasons. Throughout the comedy, the brothers take on the roles of librarians and make fun of a variety of athletic events. The format of the presentation was inspired by the television series ‘Mystery Science Theater 3000.’ They collaborated on the novels “Layers” with Nick Kroll and “Held up” with Nick Kroll, both of which were published later in their careers. While they are most known as co-hosts of the History Channel series ‘United States of America,’ they have also featured on countless other television shows as a couple. Their weekly podcast, titled ‘Sklarbro Country,’ which began in 2010, is still going strong today. These two appear to be extremely successful when they are working together.
