Water Slide + Rollercoaster
2012 was a sad year for the residents on the East Coast of the USA. Jersey Shore was hit head-on by Hurricane Sandy, which practically destroyed the entire coastal region. Many people were forced to evacuate, leaving everything they owned and knew behind for several months.

It’s been about a decade since Hurricane Sandy, but the devastation of the natural disaster remains fresh in the victims’ minds. It’s hard to forget how the iconic Jet Star Rollercoaster, pictured above, was nearly completely submerged in water. Five years after Sandy, the rollercoaster was restored and deemed safe to ride.
