The Lost World Discoverer
If the term ironic was a boat, this would be it. Here, we have a picture of the rotting corpse of a ship that once went by the name World Discoverer. The German cruise ship set sail for French Polynesia before traveling south to Antarctica. It was supposed to dock in Argentina, but it hit a reef and capsized almost immediately.

Thanks to the quick thinking of the crew, there were no fatalities. What’s quite odd is that the cruise liner, unlike the Titanic, remains semi-afloat to this day. People visiting the Ngeela Islands can catch a glimpse of the World Discoverer.
