No Smoking Underwater!
Do you remember that episode of Futurama where Bender’s cigar burned down Zoidberg’s underwater home? Yeah, that didn’t make any sense, and neither does this picture. How is it that something can produce smoke underwater? Is a family of lobster having an outdoor BBQ or something?

Of course, that’s not the case. What’s actually going on is underwater hydrothermal vents shoot out extremely hot water and liquids into the water, which have been measured to be hotter than 370 degrees. The tallest hydrothermal vent, known as a black smoker, is as tall as a four-story building. You definitely don’t want to get too close to any of these underwater chimneys!
