The image below looks to be that of a terrifying swimming pool, but believe it or not, the designers intentionally made this construction look that way. Also, it’s also not a pool, but rather a reservoir for water storage to provide the citizens of Emmendingen, Germany, with water during droughts.

While we understand that this design is functional and deliberate, it still gives us the creeps. We can’t help but imagine a horrible horror movie where a group of teenagers gathers late at night and things go horribly wrong. It may be the great storyline for an upcoming blockbuster.
