Be Thankful
We all take a lot of things and a lot of people in our lives for granted. Life can get so busy or stressful and sometimes we forget how lucky we truly are. It sounds cliche, but it’s important to practice gratitude in our daily lives because it makes us stop, think, and appreciate the good things.
Actively thinking about things you are grateful for can help you be happier, too. The feeling of gratitude is great for people’s mental health because it can improve self-esteem, increase empathy, and reduce anger. If practicing gratitude seems impossible, start off with the small things you are grateful for and see where your mind takes you.
