Treat Your Feet
Parents usually give their children financial advice about saving money and being frugal. This mom, however, has a different approach to investing. It’s good to save money, but some things shouldn’t be skimped on, such as a good pair of shoes or a great mattress. Basically, anything that separates “you from the ground.”
This advice may seem way out of the left-field, but it makes so much sense. Having good shoes, tires, or a mattress has positive long-term effects on your posture, personal safety, and wallet. Some things in life are okay to splurge on. You get what you pay for, after all.
