Listen to Each Other
A really great listener is hard to find. People often love to hear themselves talk, and don’t take the time to actually listen to what other people have to say. Listening can be especially tough when you don’t agree with another person’s point of view or opinion. Developing your listening skills can help you better understand the world.
Taking the time to actually, truly listen to someone can make them feel seen and appreciated. Who doesn’t like to feel that?! You also might find that you have more in common with someone than you originally thought, even if you have some differing opinions. A lot of misunderstandings and conflicts could be avoided if more people actively listened to each other.
