We Only Have the Present
It’s easy to fall into the trap of worrying about the future. Worrying about things that don’t exist or haven’t happened yet can be very unhealthy. A lot of times, doing this can increase anxiety, stress, or depression. While it’s good to plan ahead, you need a healthy balance of being prepared and enjoying the present.
If you worry too intensely about the future, it can distract you from the fun things in your present. You can limit your life by missing out on great opportunities because of a fear of something that hasn’t even happened yet and may not even happen. Missing out on your present can create a bleak future.
