Put a Smile On
Studies show that smiling releases dopamine and endorphins, boosting your mood and fighting off stress. Putting a smile on your face can not only make you happier, but it can also spread good cheer to others. We didn’t make that up – it’s science! We all feel a little peppier when we see or interact with someone who is genuinely happy and smiling.
It might seem weird to smile at strangers when you’re out and about, but it can have some unintended, positive side effects. You never know what others are going through, and simply smiling at someone might turn their day around. Sending positive vibes out into the world is pretty good advice in our book.
