People Who Made Unexpected and Successful Power Moves

April 5, 2010 by Kristen Reed

McDonald’s Power Move

If you aren’t familiar with the John Mulaney comedy special on Netflix, you might want to skip this one, as spoilers are included. In fact, you should get off the web and open your Netflix account, watch the comedy show, fill in the gaps and then get back to us. You won’t regret it.

Anyhow, back to the power move. The father in question is going on a road trip with his kids. You know the drill, a car full of kids all chanting they want to stop at McDonald’s. Kids are just drawn to this place – they can’t help it. So, eventually, the father caves in and pulls up at a McDonald’s drive-thru. Only, he orders one single cup of coffee for himself, and moves on.
