When you first begin to date someone you get to know all of their quirks and insecurities, and it becomes a real learning process. You have to be patient and understanding when it comes to accepting someone’s differences.

But this might be a difference slightly too big to accept. There is something about seeing a savory cake that makes me feel kind of strange. But then again, just because these aren’t my family traditions, doesn’t mean that they are not special to someone else.
