These Unique Thanksgiving Traditions and Foods Have Us Questioning Everything

What is it with Americans calling different types of dessert foods, salads? I think we are all pretty aware that this is not a salad, and that salads generally consist of vegetables, not cream, sugar, and some sort of biscuit layer.

But hey, who are we to pass judgment on a dish we have never had? This is clearly a special tradition for some families out there and that should mean something, right? We gotta say, that this does actually look like a delicious dessert… but not a delicious salad.
