Only Unpack What You Need for the Day
Here’s a tip for all of the travelers out there. When you reach your hotel/motel/under-the-bridge accommodation, don’t unpack all of your luggage. It’s tempting to hang your shirts and pants in the hotel dresser and closet, but when it comes time to pack your stuff, the likelihood of forgetting something skyrockets.

Instead, unpack what you’ll need, and that’s it. Take what you want to wear for your day’s journey and leave everything else in your suitcase for later. Also, don’t forget to stuff the dirty laundry bag with tons of dryer sheets. You’ll thank us when the nose-wrinkling smell doesn’t burn all your nose hairs.
