Don’t Grab the Armrests During Turbulence
When the airplane is a-rockin’, you know that something wrong is going on. Well, not exactly. Since turbulence is a normal part of flying, there’s absolutely no reason why you should assume the pilot lost control, at least 99.99% of the time.
But if you do panic during brief episodes of turbulence, do NOT grab the armrests. The armrests are connected to the plane, which will cause your upper body to tremor as much as the airplane cabin in. instead, place your arms in your lap or fold them across your chest while reciting every hymn, verse, or chapter in your holy book.
