Sacrificing A Chance
Choosing to have a child after knowing they would be born with a defect is brave. This is the reality of many parents worldwide, and I salute them for their altruism and selflessness. But some people can’t help but wonder if that’s actually the best choice for both the family and the child.
The expenses and time that would come with caring for a disabled child are a lot. I understand why some parents might choose to keep their child out of love, but letting the child go is the biggest act of love. The world is cruel, and it’s sad but true that a disabled child will have a hard life.
