On Donating Your Organs
Sometimes the reason people don’t choose to donate their organs is fear and not necessarily being selfish or religious. There are stories about how donors are not properly cared for so that their organs can be harvested. Many people might not list their names as donors out of fear but wouldn’t mind donating their organs when they die.
Well, it isn’t entirely unfair to say one who wouldn’t donate their organ should not be allowed to receive a donated organ. If the reason they choose not to donate their organ is religion or selfishness, then shouldn’t the same reason keep them away from receiving donated organs? It’s fair for a person who wouldn’t donate to receive. What’s your take?
