Excitedly, after disappearing nearly 50 years ago, the Eurasian Lynx has made an unexpected comeback, challenging the belief that, like the brown bear, it was gone forever. Its return brings with it newfound hope that other creatures claimed to be extinct may return as well.

Having avoided the area for decades, the Eurasian Lynx is now reestablishing itself, evidenced by tracks and tree scratches. Attracted by abundant food sources like foxes and rabbits, there are now three Lynx families living in the area.
