Unwrapped Events After People Accepted The Invite To Their High School Reunions

July 24, 2012 by Jade Parker

Your invitation to your high school union arrived. Did you promptly throw it into the fire as kindling to keep you warm through the winter months, snuggled up in the comfort of knowing you’ll never be in the same room as the school bully again? Or did you ransack your closet for your best outfit and dedicate yourself to a new diet and workout routine to blow them away when the big day came? Judging by the internet, there’s not a lot of in-between on how people feel about reuniting with their graduating class. These days, social media lets us snoop on our old crushes and bullies from afar, making awkward real-life catch-ups unnecessary. However, some are still suiting up and getting their ticket to walk down memory lane. Today we’ll be reading their stories about the shocking and hilarious things that went down at their high school reunions and who had the most significant changes.

From Criminal To Cop

Science tells us that male brains hit full development at 25 years old, while women reach the goal line a few years earlier at 21. That means our high school years are full of doing half-baked brain stuff like making embarrassing posts on social media or committing grand theft auto if you were extra mushy-brained.

This former classmate decided they needed a change and to chase the bad guys instead of being one. However, another Redditor questioned if the career choice was part of an elaborate plan to cover their tracks and gain more access to criminals who would buy their stolen parts. What do you think is more likely?
