The shell-toed Superstars are a timeless Adidas classic. If you’re a fan of the brand with three stripes, putting your favorite pair to rest will give you a case of the sads. They’re not as easy to upcycle as t-shirts or blankets, but one artist frankensteined several pairs together to make a monokini unlike any other we’ve ever seen.
The point of upcycling is to take our unused items and transform them into something we can continue using by adding value to them. While it makes for an exciting art piece, we don’t imagine it will be anyone’s go-to for a girl’s night out or a day at the office. Can anyone guess what its next upcycle evolution will be?
