Stranded and Alone
Everyone has at least one thing in life that they fear. For some, spiders are the most frightening things on the planet, even though they’re cute, cuddly creatures with eight furry legs that wouldn’t hurt a fly (figuratively speaking, of course). But if you ask a frequent traveler what they fear the most, they’ll say losing their passport.

Sure, losing your passport isn’t the most devastating thing in the world. Heck, it happens to 300,000 Americans every year (back when traveling abroad was a thing). However, without your passport, not only are you not allowed to board your return flight home, but you also have to go through the long bureaucratic nightmare of remaking it at the embassy. Ugh.
