#10: Men Wearing “Plus-10’s”, 1920s
The crazy thing about fashion is that it is constantly changing, forming, and morphing into something different. While many things come in and out of style all the time, some probably won’t ever find their way back into the mainstream. But that’s the funny thing about fashion—you never know what will be.
These trousers were known as Plus 10’s, a variation on the golfing underwear, Plus 4’s. The number would increase for how many inches the pants would sit below the knee. At the time, these pants were all the rage, and every boy and man wanted to be seen in a pair of them. Almost fitted out like a suit, the complete look was admired by many.
