Social sports in schools and clubs have come a long way since their creation. Whether for boys and girls separately or coed teams, social sports have always been a great way for kids to interact with one another and get some physical exercise.
This girl’s basketball team from the mid-1920s might not look very enthusiastic, but there is something special about this photo. Not only are their basketball uniforms very different from female uniforms today, but the style of the photo is also very different from traditional sporting photos.
