Deep Reverence
When it comes to the natural world, the indigenous people of Alaska have a deep reverence. There is no doubt in their minds that people are not in complete control of their immediate surroundings. This house collapsed right here because of coastal erosion. For a long time, the house withstood various storms and pressures before finally collapsing.
As time went on, the structure was eventually razed to the ground in the year 2004. In the past, there have been a number of incidents just like this one, particularly in coastal areas. A constant reminder of how insignificant humans are in the grand scheme of things is provided by the immense power that nature possesses.
