Exaggerate Or Reality
The presence of mosquitoes presents a significant challenge in Alaska. During the summer, a guest commented that the bug reminded them of a mutant species from a science fiction or fantasy movie. Exaggeration is a common problem in modern society, and people have a tendency to do it with almost everything.
On the other hand, researchers have found that Alaska is home to more than 30 distinct species of the pesky insect known as the mosquito. Yikes! During the summer months of June through August, there is a general increase in the total number of individuals belonging to this species of insect.
