Idaho – The Snake River
Much the same as the River Nile, the Ganges, and the Amazon River are staggeringly significant in various countries around the globe, the Snake River is enormous in America. The Snake River can be seen coursing through the Pacific Northwest, going through various states with Idaho being the place where the majority of the rivers flow.
This photograph was taken in 1860 and pictures one of the nation’s most marvelous rivers’ tributaries. In those days, the bank was the home to a few diverse Native American tribes who lived off of the incredible salmon populations found in the river.
