Louisiana – University Of Louisiana’s First Preside
Frank Lister Hawks was the first-ever President of the University of Louisiana, however, he never truly had the best reputation. Before turning into the University’s (presently Tulane University) president, he worked in various fields. He was an author, a historian, a teacher, yet his most scandalous job was by far the one as a known preacher in his locale, during which tenure he got associated with several sex scandals.

For a long time, he was the talk of the country and could be seen on many newspaper covers. This picture of him was taken around 1847 just before he joined the University.
