New Hampshire – A Consequential Politician
Levi Woodbury was another US Politician. This portrait of him was taken in 1844, while he filled in as the Senator for New Hampshire. Notwithstanding the role of Senator, Woodbury held a few different positions in the political world.

He was the Secretary of Treasury, a Governor, and a Secretary of the Navy. He was one of the rare individuals to serve in each of the three branches having a place with the US government, making his name live in history to this date.
