Harper’s Ferry is famous as the site of John Brown’s raid, bringing a slave rebellion that was one of the Civil War’s greatest causes. Intending to abolish slavery in the entire South, John Brown led 21 men.

Unfortunately, after he claimed that he could no longer do anything with the group, the group of men let the doctor go. This doctor managed to run and warn nearby towns about the raid, leading to its downfall.
