Hank Williams Jr. Vs. ESPN
Hank Williams, Jr. incensed many people many years ago when he likened a former president to a notorious mid-20th century central European dictator who is undoubtedly the most notorious mass murderer ever lived. Once again, he was let go from his job as the theme song singer for ESPN’s Monday Night Football.
After that, he was dismissed from his position as a football-themed vocalist on ESPN. Williams subsequently composed a song about it. However, it appears that the affair has blown over; Williams has since joked about it and been invited back to appear on the program again.
