Waylon Jennings Vs. Tompall Glaser
The late ’60s through the mid-1970s were a particularly fruitful period in which music legends including Waylon Jennings and Tompall Glaser collaborated together. In Nashville, Tennessee, in the 1970s, Jennings recorded his album Honky Tonk Heroes at Glasser’s Hillbilly Central studio, where Glaser joined him.
Together, they fought Music Row’s rumored bad business tactics. But their friendship ended in tragedy. The reasons for the conflict are not well-known. They each stated their love and regard for one another but could never come to an agreement. Both have now passed away.
