Kristen Hall Vs. Sugarland
One of the most well-known in-band conflicts occurred when Kristen Hall quit Sugarland in 2006. After the group had achieved success, Hall sued remaining members Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush for $1.5 million.
“I started the band. I named the band,” she stated and claimed that she had picked up much of the group’s expenses on her credit cards. When Sugarland’s other members reminded her that they were $100,000 in debt when she departed, she walked out of court with an undisclosed settlement.
