John F Kennedy
John Fitzgerald Kennedy, or JFK to many, was the 35th president of the United States. Kennedy governed at the height of the Cold War, dealing with Cuba and Russia issues. He was also at the forefront of America’s Civil Rights Movement when he served.
On November 23, 1963, this was one of the final known photographs of John F. Kennedy taken in Dallas, Texas. JFK would be assassinated by a sniper rifle shot to the head just a few minutes later while riding in the same automobile in front of thousands of people, seated next to his wife, Jackie.
