Meet Me At The Malt Shop
We’ve all been to the 50s themed school dances with girls flouncing around in their felt poodle skirts and the boys in their greaser gear, but they were missing one essential part of weekend get-togethers of that era; the malt shops. These were the go-to for families, friends, and lovers who wanted to get their grub on.
Going out to grab a bite with our friends and fam is still a weekend staple, but genuine malt shops are a little rarer now. Instead, we have the 50s themed diners decked out with the familiar checkered tiling with red vinyl seating and vintage-styled modern jukeboxes. Just make sure to leave the poodle skirts to the waitresses.
